OFFICE CLERK

We are looking for a Full-Time Permanent Office Clerk with the ability to handle a variety of tasks for both our Transport Company and Repair Shop. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Basic accounting skills and experience working in the trucking industry or a repair shop is an asset. Muddy River offers a Group Insurance Benefits plan to our employees. Work hours are Monday to Friday 8am- 5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Be a team player.
  • Provide support to fellow employees as needed.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Manage and verify drivers logs.
  • Prepare invoices and follow up on accounts receivables.
  • Track expenses and enter payables.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
  • Prepare repair shop invoices using Full Bay.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

CLASS 1 DRIVER

We are looking for Class 1 Drivers and/or owner operators to join our team. Running cross border between Canada/ US hauling grain and fertilizer. Usually gone through the week and home on the weekends. Drivers that hustle can be around 100k a year. Need to be double vaccinated and have a valid passport to cross the Canada US border.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Potential to take home:  $3,400.00-$5,200.00 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
  • Load and unload grain/ fertilizer
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
  • Commercial driver’s license
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong work ethic and Team Player
